Project Hope for the Homeless
Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008Bill #IC83648256A
During this time of economic uncertainty it is more important than ever to provide a safety net to those who find themselves without shelter for the night.
Project Hope provides temporary emergency shelter for men, women and families in Lake County. The shelter is open from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for up to 35 people. Before they leave in the morning the shelter provides a lunch for each person to take with them. With my $20 I was able to buy juice boxes and an assortment of cereal bars to pack in the lunches.
In addition to shelter, Project Hope provides various other services to provide hope for those who are hurting. There are several ways to provide support for this organization. Log on to www.projecthopeonline.org
